You really don't need to post this thread 4 separate times. I don't know anything about 2006 CMP, but I'm sure someone will be along to help. They will probably ask you some specifics about what exactly happened before they'll be able to help you.

First off Welcome.

Second, post only one thread not three of them. This is an international forum and this is a hobby not a job, be patient when waiting for an answer. We will give you an answer ASAP.

Third, please use the search function at the top of the page, there are multiple threads asking the same question as yours. An answer is even in the TRS2006 FAQ area.

Your problem is that assest.tdx is corrupt. To fix this it is very simple.

Open up your program files for TRS2006 (Typically C:\Program Files\Auran\TRS2006), then find in that folder a file called assest.tdx. If there is no assest.tdx file go into the Bin folder and find something called assest.bku. Copy and paste this file into the TRS2006 folder and rename in assest.tdx.

Now go into Task Manager (Ctrl + Alt + Del) and go to the processes tab. Find something called Launcher.exe, if this is present right click it and End Process.

Now open up CMP and DO NOT TOUCH YOUR COMPUTER. Go read, have a drink, whatever. Give CMP about 15 to 20 minutes. When you come back it should be done.

Now go play Trainz!

Cheers,
Adam

CMP in TS2009

I see this is related to CMP crashing, EH?;) My CMP for TS2009 says "TETData directory could not be found. Please ensure it is in the same directory as this executable":n: I see a folder cauld TETData.:D
Could it be another TETData program? Or is CMP being dumb?:n:

Well those who want to reply to my post.
I fixed it! To bad this post could not come sooner, I will half to uninstall trainz next time,:(
My BAD!:( :o  :'(

When I used TRS2006, this is what I did, EXCEPT, after doing this I restarted my computer. This is all I did.

BTW, if you get tired of the very unstable TRS2006 and all the crashing and fatal errors, I suggest you invest in TS12. MUCH MORE stable version, IMHO.

Cheers,

Dave
