There is no way in heck, that the Norfolk Southern Corporation (owner of the Norfolk Southern Railway) will let another steam locomotive operate on their "current" steam program. Besides, they already have sufficient steam power, so why waste time adding another steam locomotive and by the by, the nearest tracks near the 475, don't belong to Norfolk Southern, they belong to Amtrak. So, in order for that to happen, Norfolk Southern, the Strasburg Rail Road and Amtrak would have to work out a deal, and I don't think Amtrak is all so keen on steam powered excursions on their lines, especially those "under the wire" (the catenary on the ex-Pennsylvania Railroad main line). The Norfolk & Western 475 is fine where she is and besides there is no connection at the junction with the PRR, if this were to happen, Amtrak would have to build a connecting track and I don't think Amtrak is all too interested in building a connecting track at the current time, if a business in Strasburg opened and wanted a freight connection, then Amtrak would probably build one for NS, but this is not the time or discussion on freight to Strasburg.
