My SD70MAC randomly derails over a junction

i was playing the other day on york - one of the Auran made routes - when i came upon a junction that was hooked to another track, but there was no track to the side of it. it looked like this. the line represents the track, and the dot represents the junction

this is what it looked like, but there was track by junction not in the line above . i passed over it, and derailed. I have also seen some junctions that just lead to a dead end track. like the track that is coming off the switch is about 3 inches long, and thn it stops. i'm sure that Auran wouldnt publish their routes with defects like this. Please tell me why i keep derailing over the same junction, without there being another track.

Might help if you gave an example of the junction numbers so someone can compare.

Out of curiosity, was it the Wadalbavale Line?

Hi... This problem has been around for a long time. My solution is just remake the junction. Smooth out the curve of the joining track. Always worked for me.

Just make sure that the points are set up before you run over the switch.
