My PBR Replacement Grass Gone-comment

I adopted the FFR09 flat grass to replace the PBR stuff that messed up roads and tracks. I believed it was adequate. However, it was last seen in TRS2022 beta. Not available in the Standard version that I now use.

Did this come with a DLC package you don't have installed in the beta?

I just discovered it in the database one day. My problem is trackside. Is there a track "product" that conforms the undulations of PBR?

All other <kuid2:132952:155464:12> SAM Trk - III/B v7 – Seasonal That worked for me. With it, I could run the Shader maxed out and most everything looked fantastic. However, any place that I had 2 different PBR textures next to each other, it usually looked like crap....absolutely terrible and nothing I tried alleviated it. I finally went back to my old track and turned the shader all the way back down......it just wasn't worth the aggravation.

I ran into the same issue with SAM track and also with trainboi's tracks as well. Both of these track types have PBR ballast. In general, when I've used PBR textures, I have found that they don't blend well and also still look like carpet squares no matter what scale is used. Because of this, I turned off the PBR special effects in my shader settings.

Well, that (SAM Trk - III/B v7) fixed it. After so much effort cleaning up the black streaks that was the final solution.
THANKS

Yes....the track works great. I just couldn't deal with all the annoyances of where one PBR texture met another one.....and especailly when 2 PBR textures met the track. It just wasn't worth the aggravation.

How do you turn off pbr special effects in your shader settings? I can't find an option for any pbr settings change.

Jack

This is an overall shader setting so any asset that uses this value to display their offering will react. That may cause exposure to the effects of nearby PBR products,
