Murchison2 Installation problem

I've purchased and downloaded Murchison2 (and the free Treez).

I cannot get either package to install within my existing TRS2009 package. It gets as far as 'creating directories' and freezes. The only way I can then exit is to use Task Manager which states 'not responding'.

They will both quickly install as standalone which is undesirable for Murchison; (I can't create new sessions in Surveyor) and useless for Treez as I am unable to access Surveyor and thus unable to use them.

Helpdesk has only said 'make sure nothing else is running and disable anti virus.' They haven't responded to my questions expressed here.

Any ideas folks?

The program add-ons take a very long time to decompress and install. I thought they hung at first too, but then I got a telephone call and didn't bother to watch the installation. When the call ended, quite a long time later, the install of my Murchison 2 was completed. Treez and S&C also take a long time as well.

Thanks for that John, it worked. I just went away and left it for a half hour.
