Motorbreath's Sins or Skins? (big pics)

More are on the way to the DLS, which is being difficult today.

Oh yes, more of the southern roads please! I like the Central boxcars you did, some NC&StL and L&N would be cool too.

I'm in North Georgia now and I've fallen in love with this place. I will be doing some L&N for sure, I'll look into finding others based in this region and the eastern US in general. And some I find just look cool, so I'm not passing up anything from the US or Canada that appeals to me.

Where about in Georgia? Close to Chattanooga? You may be interested in trying some skins for the TAG, West Point Route Railroads, and like I said earlier the NC. Then there's Southern and L&N that later absorbed those.

I'm 40 miles north on 85 from Atlanta, but 85 goes more east through my area. I'm a Florida boy though so I'm still learning about what is up here.

I had this one in line to be skinned, so I went ahead and did it.

Nice work Motorbreath. Just downloaded your latest offering. :) They look nice on my Aussie route.

Regards

Those all look brilliant! :D

Do you think that you will be doing any locomotive reskins? :confused:

I have no idea. Deane's trailers aren't always a simple cut and paste ordeal, due to the fact he had to map the models for old pictures that aren't anywhere near the kind of pictures most people would try to use for a skin. And skinning quality locos is a lot different from the simplicity in skinning a cube like a boxcar. Where am I going here...? I think I'm done with the trailers for now, and I will churn out a few more boxcars as I find ones I like. There is a loco I'm not at liberty to mention, but I haven't messed with it much yet and there are a few things I would have to figure out. And I also need to bite the bullet and work harder at not getting angry at myself when trying to play with Gmax. I think I've got the eye for it, just not the brains. This thread was made just because I was making all of these skins for myself any way, and I figured I would throw a few things into the pot if they turned out ok. The DLS spit 5 items back at me with no reason, and they were trailers and boxcars done exactly the same as the ones I've already released.

<snip NC beauty>

Neat, you'll have to come up to Chattanooga and visit us soon at TVRM. We start running steam in 2 or 3 weeks. Heck, I can tell you when I'm going to be on there, too, whenever I find out.

That's only 2 1/2 hours away, so that is a possibility.

The flat car is made by Simulatortrain and is at MG Trains (link below) and on the DLS also I believe. The flat comes with black ASF trucks from RRMods, but I have put the new red ASF trucks from RRMods on a few clones. The original trailer is made by Dinorius_Redundicus. The original boxcar is from Joe Ramos. So thanks again to Simulatortrain, Dinorius_Redundicus, and Joram24 while I'm at it.
