by the dog park. What kind of locomotives are those and how fast was that train going? Gustav was whelped in Kentucky on April 10, 2025. He is a purebred German Shepherd. He was a bit freaked out by that Iowa Interstate RR train (lead engine number 514) so close. I have the camera in one hand and his leash in the other. This is the first train he's ever seen. We also have Union Pacific in Des Moines, Iowa. I thought the train was a UP at first because the approaching nose was yellow. The train was heading northeast and coming from the Des Moines yard where UP trains also congregate.
