Mojave in TANE

Has anybody moved Mojave over to TANE and if so how did it go? Is there any "recommended" method?

Opened it up the dependencies for editing in TS12 and brought the editing folder over.

Too much faulty to do much with the route.

But isn't that everything in T:ANE.

Mostly goes over ok - as long as all textures in Tane do not have "texture issues" - unfortunately majority of main track, signals etc show as having errors and will need to be repaired (by Jointedrail). Looks very bright golden and will need to have environmental settings adjusted as well.

Building, trees and vegetation are nearly 90% ok, basically until the Jointed rail tracks and associated infrastructure is fixed it will be unusable

If you're impatient, you can always repair the faulty assets yourself with asset x...although you will need some patience to get all the errors fixed. I did it and everything works great.

Digging up an old thread (yeah, I'm that guy)
Has anyone heard any news if the Mojave route or its assets will be updated for TANE? Or should I just wait, or try out another route to get my desert fix?

Thanks!

At this time there are no in-progress plans to take the TS12 route for Mojave and update it to TANE at least on the JR side.

Hello, i have a news for you !...
In march 15, 2016, i see Jointedrail made available is route "Mojave Sub" and some sessions for T:ANE (Build version 4.3) in Manage Content/Download Station. They are available in Payware status, but I do not know where and how to buy it or get it.

Vyns

that isn't the route from Jointed Rail, although there is ONE session available Mojave to Bakersfield HTML. So, no big news, sorry guys.

I thought I read in a thread that N3V was working on bringing both the TS12 Mojave and NEC routes into TANE in a future update.

yeah, but the Mojave listed on the DLS is not the same one as TS12... not even a Jointed Rail item.

Let us make clear what this discussion is all about. There are now on the DLS Jointed Rail Mojave assets all of which are CM4.3 Payware and to date they have not been placed on Simulator Central but when N3V make an announcement they will be added I am sure. As you can see my CM3.7 sees the updates route and sessions as out of date but for TZ12 the build versions listed are not Out of Date: -

There is the Mojave route and related sessions dated March 15, 2016 all at version 4.3, yes all payware. The author is listed as JointedRail. Following is what was copied from CM in Tane on the route only.

<kuid2:487560:69000:3> Mojave Sub Division

If this isn't Jointedrail or N3V making these available, then there is a problem.

I think you will find that those items listed as Jointed Rail on the DLS they are not available. They are as you correctly say payware but it is 'not installed payware' and it cannot be installed, the error report is: -

; Searching asset 'Mojave Sub Division'
- Unable to search asset <kuid2:487560:69000:3>. This asset is payware DLC and is not available via the Download Station..
+ Complete

The fact that the asset is reported as payware DLC it is fairly clear that this is an asset that will be released by N3V in my humble opinion.

Correct. This would be something we dont have any involvement in here, even though it shows as the jointedrail username. This is how it showed in TS12 which Mojave was built in.
