Mods: this website is running super slow on my computer as of late.

I don't know about the computers of fellow Trainzers. It doesn't matter whether I use Edge or Chrome. I've tried clearing browser history already.

Moderators have absolutely nothing to do with that.
Moderators are volunteers that run around with a broom and a ban-hammer and have nothing to do with hosting a website or a forum. Most administrators don't even have anything to do with that.

Since this forum runs absolutely fine for me, my guess it is your side, whatever that side it.

little more information would help, Like the Following: Age of Computer used to view website, Type of internet your using to access the site(Public internet or private(Ethernet wired internet or WiFi Internet wireless) just to name a few?

Who owns this website and who maintains it? To whom can a member here contact about site connectivity issues? I suspect I'm being throttled here on purpose because they know my IP address here. I did a test on my Android phone, however, and there are no speed issues clicking on link after link here when connected to this site by mobile data, not Wi-Fi. I did not log on here while browsing on mobile data. Clearing my browser history on my home PC connected by Wi-Fi hasn't helped speed things up for me here.

If your PC is having issues, it's something to do with YOUR PC because there's nothing wrong here connecting with any of my PCs and I have three of them running - used for different tasks...

Sometimes, cookies become stale and have to be deleted. Clean your browser cache, defragment your hard drive. The built-in defrag utility will TRIM SSDs automatically if you are using one of those.

Reboot your router.

Scan your PC for malware.

My internet is nothing special (ethernet), but all the forum pages are loading almost instantly and consistently on my PC. On my iPad its slower but it's on Wi-Fi. @JonMyrlennBailey, could your network adapter or motherboard need a firmware update?

I had better success here while using my PC tethered off my my Android Moto phone which transmits mobile data through a local cell tower and uses T-Mobile as a carrier. I rebooted my Verizon Wireless 5G router, ran Spybot Search & Destroy update, immunization and scan, and CCleaner, did Windows 10 Updates as well as cleared all browser history. I did not seem to have trouble with speed on many other websites as YouTube, Google search page and my mail clients. I will see how it goes. From now on, I will do a tethered phone test if a particular site loads pages slowly while on Wi-Fi/PC. I tried browsing here on the free Wi-Fi connection that is shared at my apartment complex and that was slow too. The Verizon Wireless 5G is my personal paid W-Fi. I will have to try browsing on this site at my local library to see if it is any better.

It's funny I can use this website just fine on a connection (as my tethered Android burning up costly paid subscription limited cellular data with an IP address that can't be associated with my account here by operators and administrators of this site). I have a suspicion somebody who runs this joint is playing games with me. I mean why is my wimpy phone on mobile data so much faster and reliable on Trainz Forums than my "robust" Verizon Wireless 5G connection?

So you just bought a shiny new black (with red trim no less) Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut (I had to look it up) which holds the world automobile speed record of 330mph but your local roads have a speed limit of 50mph, and worse still, are full of pot-holes so even doing 20mph would risk damaging your suspension.

Who do you complain to? The car manufacturer for producing a product that can move so fast or the local council/county for the poor state of the roads and the "wimpish" speed limits?

EDIT: I got the units wrong - it was MPH not Kmh

Actually, I am posting just fine here right now back on my Wi-Fi/Verizon once again, for now at least. My mobile data plan is capped at 1G per month. So, as to why it gets slow in here for me at times beats the crap out of me. I will just have to see how it goes for now. I know nothing about how websites work and such, nuts and bolts wise. Not my bag of knowledge. I do know, however, some folks get banned (or throttled or muted) by determination of the known IP address of a member at certain sites. If the Pet Rocks of the 1970's forums were to ban me while using my home computer, I could surely get onto their site at my local library's or McDonald's free Wi-Fi hotspot.

Usually it is the username that is blocked/banned by the web site operator. Your IP address can be masked by using a VPN or changed by logging in using a different computer at a different location (e.g. at work instead of at home). There are several users in these forums who have different login accounts for a variety of reasons - not all of them to avoid bans by the mods but I am sure that does happen.
