It has been known (in the UK) for the locomotive to be turned separately from the tender where the TT was too small.

I know that even on turntables specially built to accommodate the Big Boys, there was 3 feet of overhang off either end. That being said, my turntable is not built to fit a Big Boy, but can fit a Cab Forward so it's entirely possible that you could manage it.

Hey, sorry man it's a private commission for someone that has paid me to make it especially for them. Pics are all I can do.
