A very tight squeeze for 3985! I guess 4014 won't fit on this one..

Lastly, 3985 sneaks around some high hills.

I am loving the model trainz stuff! So many possibilities, and pretty quick to make them.

Model trainz are too fun!
Added some scenery to the yard and around the bend on the other table.

Uh.. this should not work. But it does. The guiding wheels on the front are hanging a little bit...

Extend track further out from the pit then try again, you may not be able to place the whole thing but it might fit when you drive it on :)

Actually the over hang can be correct for the big boy. Not all of the UP turntables were lengthened to accommodate the big boy. At some stations the special lifting ramp were used to lift the tender wheels high enough to turn the locomotives. At Omaha and other locations even the late challengers had to be turned this way. But the early challengers the CSA class were just short enough to fit. ANL
