All I can say is wow...:D All this work is changing the way I see routes in trainz, and how to make my own layout into trainz.
A lot of information is organized in this topic:
http://forums.auran.com/trainz/showthread.php?109444-Making-Model-Railroadz

Good Stuff - What I would like to see is a more layered layout and one that is MP.
Here you go:

Both have two MP sessions.

Well after seeing this thread, I know i will be using this method for my track planning. I'm moving out of my parents house and into a new basement (acutally a condo) which is unfinshed and enough room for O scale. Anyway, here's the floor plan of the basement -

With all the wall assets out there, what my problem is that 45 degree corner, any ideas on how to get around that since if use any of the wall assets they seem to be one length. my theory is that i'll use trainz for planning before i build the phyiscal layout. I do plan on doing this, since at my job I am on a computer all day from 8-5 and thus need something to do when i get home.... Oh and also if anyone has any suggestions for track plans i'm open to ideas.

In case anyone wants to come up with track plan specs are:
Scale is 2-rail O, 50" min radius on main 36-42 for sidings, (equipment will be nothing bigger than a geep or 40-50ft cars.) Focus of layout will be on operation and switching.

btw when using this method in trainz, how does one scale out turnouts and curves properly? So that in my case i can be sure everything will fit.

For turnouts you could maybe use fixed turnouts. There are a bunch on the DLS with varying radii. For curves, there is a curve radius tool in Trainz I think, so you could set the desired radius of the curve from measurements, etc.

Have you finish it? Or, can we see some shotz?

"So I was curious if there is any model railroad routes or bases for route available."

I was thinking about a small layout to run Ben Neal's latest masterpiece and came across this layout on the Web:

FederalStreetBookshelf_Layout_zps733c5319.jpg

I spent a few hours yesterday afternoon and today working on it. The track is all done and the structures in place. Textures still to go. And the finishing touches.

A few more hours and it will be done. It's surprising how quickly this kind of route can be put together.

So, conrail, soon.

As with all my routes, all dependencies are either built-in to TS12 or from the Download Station.

What you need is a wall asset as a spline. If you need to match one of the existing wall textures you could try asking the author if they would mind doing a spline version.

Again a bunch of nice shots added to this tread. Thanks for sharing people!

If you would have read more of this topic, you would have found a movie of this route and that it is on the DLS.
Do I need to mention search?

I don't mind for those I made.
Not on my game PC right now, but expect to be there later today; now to find a few minutes time and energy (it was a long week).
