@Kimo505,
I kinda feel like you're sellin yourself short. Not saying you gotta do anything you don't really want to, but honestly, even if you only uploaded a few scenes here and there, Im sure people would like to use them as a starting place to create something..... What you've created is noteworthy to the point that people would like to see more of it. What form that takes is entirely up to you. But Don't knock yourself so much, you've done some really good work.

I know that. I am asking what kind of spline they use to make it blend in. I tried to use yours but It goes over the track and looks ugly. It still does look very nice.
Great job on the HD textures. I need to know how to use them like in Kimo's layout.

Regards,
Raphael.

Generally you run the fascia height lower than the track height. You also need to make sure you fix the vertex height of splines (yellow markers) so they don't trace the ground contour if your track is close to the fascia edge. If you want to start running the fascia edges higher than the track height you'll need to start getting creative with the way you use the splines and in most cases ensure the track is at least 20m away from the fascia to give texture splines room to be replaced with physical ground. Kimo likes to stretch the grounds of comfortable allowance in that respect. :hehe:

Sum of the best pics of Aussie content I have seen FSP we'll done mate, Please show sum more.
Cheers Mick.

Thanks mate. One more before I go to bed. Been experimenting with painted backdrops tonight. This is two backdrop scenes. The sky is the standard plain backdrop with a masked hill spline in front. No messy edges and no texture leftovers at the top of the mesh.

I like overgrown tracks, but it doesn't make sense to have a random ribbon of grass cross the tracks. (The yard ladder, not the grass between the main tracks. The grass between the main tracks is nice.) It doesn't seem intentional, so I was pointing that out.

If you look back in this thread, there are a lot of steel warehouse buildings that aren't on JR. Where can buildings like this be found? Also, where are some good small brick industrial buildings?

Got a few more shots of the progress on my Moonbrooke & Western...

0-8-8-0 #2000 passes the new Moonbrooke Station, based off of the C&NW's Racine Station.

Also, i have a short request. I would love some suggestions on how to fill up all the empty space around the yard and roundhouse, especially what trees i should use. As you've noticed, i have chosen to make a full-fledged winter version though i may make more seasons later. Also, i do like the billboard trees, but with TANE rollin' around soon, i'd like to replace them with SpeedTwees, so are there any that look snowy or leafless? It'd be nice if someone could help me find some nice-lookin' SpeetTwees for winter.

Best Regards,
