Missing Locomotive in Sebino Lake Orient Express Route

Somewhat puzzled to find that when I load the Orient Express (Part 1) session of the Sebino Lake route, which came built-in to my purchase of Trainz 2019, I'm missing a locomotive! There is a coal tender but no loco and neither is there one hiding in the locality. The route doe indicate "missing dependencies" but these seem to be road vehicles. So the question is how can I do a re-install of the route or find the missing loco.

Any help would be appreciated

Ah! I've found the Help page in the Manual

Just to stop you guys wasting your time I've found the "Help: In-game Downloading Page in the Manual" so I will work through this to reinstall and hopefully resolve the problem.

Cheers

I started having this problem, too, but not necessarily with that particular loco. I eventually started having enough issues that I deinstalled, and then reinstalled everything. It is a pain to do so, but TS19 worked much better afterward. I believe my problem was due to too many beta updates in between asset downloads; something got messed up. I even got to the point that a database rebuild would hang about halfway through. Another tip: after installing everything (TS19, all updates, and downloadable assets), perform a disk defragmentation (if you aren't using SSD). I have had as many as 50,000 fragmented files (even more with T:ANE), all due to the way N3V chooses to handle assets and associated packages. This provided a noticeable boost to performance upon loading sessions.

Manual on re-installing glitch!

In pursuance of resolving my Sebino Lake Loco problem as noted above I was following the Reinstalling DLC Help when I came across a serious omission which prevented me from going further. The instructions require you to open the 'packages' folder in the 'Local Data Folder' and delete 'SC' folder which relates to the stuff you want to reinstall. However there seems to be no way of identifying which SC folder among the hundreds listed this is, no route or asset labels. Neither are there any SC references in the main game either and the Launcher only directs you to 'fuid' folders. So what to do apart from a complete reinstall of the game?

Thanks for your response and tip Joel. At the moment I only have a problem with one route so a total reinstall is not practicable.

Sebino Lake is sc407. Any folder, in the packages folder, starting with sc407 belongs to to Sebino Lake package.

I keep a log file of what and when I download. For paid routes, when downloading, if you hover over the file set in the Asset Download window (in game) it will show you the "sc" package number. I note the number and name of route. I also watch my packages and data folder and just to verify where the new package is going and I note the day/time stamp. Freeware is handled a little different but you can still log and track it if you watch your folders during the download.

Also, in the "Select a Route" pane you can hover over the route name in the thumbnail and Author, kuid #, and date of install will show. It takes a few seconds for this info to appear.

Success!

Thanks to the Forum my copy of Sebino Lake in up and running, it is excellent and well worth the trouble. Thanks to all again!
