Missing KUIDS? Post them here!

i am missing a couple of weird Kuid: numbers:

if any one has any ideas about there to find them would be much appreciated!
 
Hi Alby,

Kuid's beginning with 16,777,215 are totally unrealistic, and might be not accepted by the Content Manager (it was the case with kuid's superior to 1 million, last year, before we reached the first member with such a kuid) .
It might come from a non-registered member who "invented" this kuid ...

Kuids use 32 bits for the userId, of which 24 bits are used for normal userIds (max 16,777,215). The kuid2 version number uses 7 bits of the MSB (most significant byte). For negativ userIds, usually special Auran/N3V Ids, all bits of the MSB are set (0xFF). The asset numbers use 32 bits, displayed as signed (CM ?) or unsigned (DLS webpage ?) numbers.

hi phillippe, peter, and HPL

this happened when i merged a route in TRS 2002 Plat

and i cannot delete them from the config, as they keep coming back when i reload the route
so if they are say ghost kuids, maybe we need to let NV3 know of this issue

A ton for RER B that I'm having trouble downloading from an almost nonexistent website. I can't even list them all, but some of them begin with 84500, and so many begin with 201472 and 217979.
 
@alby6, you cannot delete them from the config.txt because for a route those are actually populated by the route, that is why they keep coming back. You have to go into Surveyor and choose "Delete Missing assets" from the menu. Then you have to save the route under your own KUID.

@Jaykob8, 84500 is user megadeath. His assets are from around 2005 and his contact website is no longer there.
201472 is user pber007. The newest I have by him is 2014, and his contact site seems to still exist, but not responding:

217979 is by user globule. The site appears to still be active, but the links to creations all return a mysql_connect error:
http://globuletrainz.free.fr/

Your best bet may be to check the route description for dependency download links or go back to the site that hosts the route and see if they provide any information for dependency sources.

i have also tried to delete missing assets but that does not seem to work
there were no missing assets from the routes i merged

maybe some knows of a different way to remove the missing assets.

In my CM <kuid:-16777216:33484238> is marked as of the Auran. Others look weird as well. Probably another sloppy work...

No luck finding the 7 assets. I've given up and I'll DLM. They're probably not important anyway and if I come across something missing, I'll find something to replace them. I have a feeling they were unimportant things anyway. A quick glance over the very large route showed nothing anywhere I could see out of place.
