Loco uses sounds by “Wulf 9” , < kuid2:104722:53438:1> on DLS if you don't already have it.

Hmmmm, I have an extra question, I have already downloaded and installed kuid:2:104722:53438:1, however, my CMP advises me that this asset is now obsolete, but, there is no newer asset on the DLS and this is a major enginesound for quite a variety of US diesel locomotives, it is linked to 68 locomotives in my game at present, does anybody know where the newest version is please, as I've checked on the TPR download website also.

the only way CMP would know if it was obsolete is if you had it already or if it was on the DLS. try right clicking it and finding the "asset versions" see if one shows on the DLS.

Thanks for your help Justin, but, I've already checked to see if Wulf has done a newer version of this asset, but, there's nothing on the DLS, nor, on the TPR site, so, I'm confused as to why CMP thinks it's obsolete, it's not a texture, it's an enginesound, a very important one.

My TS2009 shows that kuid2:104722:53438:1 has been obsoleted by EMD 16-645E1 enginesounds v2,<kuid2:104722:532770:1> which is included in Tidewater_Point_Rail_GP38-2_Pack_v203.cdp which I got from TPR site at http://www.trainzproroutes.com/downloads/.

My TS2010 shows that kuid2:104722:53438:1 is built-in and is not obsolete.

Thanks guys, right, I've been looking for another kuid2:104722:53438:1, version 2 or 3, which is obviously not the case, any more. It's all very confusing......:hehe:

Many thanks for the link Bob, I think I may even have the Tidewater GP38's archived on a CD somewhere, from years ago.
