Missing content - location? Session WHC - 07:00

hey - first post - long time fan since UTC - TRS2004 here by preference atm - I have the most content stored for it.

As mentioned above, does anyone know where the missing content is available, my T.objectz says there is 83 missing items not available at download station?
I would at least like to try to drive it with missing content, but the error is disabling even that.

The session runs with a continual error every 30sec or so.

Another old issue too - A Dispatcher Nightmare - never loads, says cannot find specified train - I have downloaded and installed all dependecies, re installed over and over. Anyone got a clue what I am doing wrong with this? Or is the scenario broken and never been fixed?

That sounds like one of mine... I almost didn't recognise the session title - the route name is more familiar in these parts. This post should have links to all of the dependencies from elsewhere: http://forums.auran.com/trainz/showpost.php?p=30649&postcount=2

p.s. See if putting the missing content back gets rid of the error messages - otherwise I suspect there is a faulty item that I have corrected on my machine.

Ah thank you for that.

What better response than from the author himself :)

I will get onto it over the next 24hr thereabouts and reply back here, with results

ok, I installed the links - nothing changed ( minus that somewhere there is now more content)

here is the two error messages that show.

The first appears at start up before the control choice screen, plus you cannot choose the method of controller, then by manually closing the controller window, the second error message constantly shows every 20sec or so endlessly.

Error 1
Thread exception ER NUllReference, line 145, file

Stack dump:

function $void@AJS Junction::Init(), line -1

Error 2
Thread exception NullReference, line 23, file

Stack dump:

function $void@skin::Init(), line -1

Also this link is unavailable - Offices by Jango from http://www.trainzitalia.com/vbulleti...d=330&catid=21 (freeware section is back!)

The first one is to do with Andi06's junctions. Dependencies of dependencies often don't download automatically, so it's probably best to download everything from Andi06's junction kit to make sure you have the latest version and all the scripts.

The second one I'm not sure about - it could be more of the same, or it could be a similar error with another scripted item. Get the whole junction kit, especially the libraries and junction controller, and have another go.

Ok, I re- installed AJs stuff, I had most of it already in my archives.

Started - New error, right on start up, still cannot select controller method, close manually

Error 1

Thread exception NullReference, Line 21, file

Stack Dump:

function $Soup@tram::GetDestNamesSoup(Asset), line -1
function $void@tram::ChangeDestinationSign(Message), line 43

The the second error occurs the same as last time though I feel the frequency increased to about 10sec or less

Error 2

Thread exception Null reference, line 23, file

Stack dump:

function $void@skin::Init(), line -1

Some of the missing content I noticed when going for a run and continually closing the error, parts of the wharf where the ship is in town, and most if not all the points for the standard gauge rail line at the station at tram line end where consist 80? starts.

The item on italia website is not avail (I think I already mentioned - dont know if that is of importance)

The item on TrainzItalia is just an office building - it's not vital.

The first new error is to do with the destination blinds on Motorman1066's trams. You may have to manually download some of the dependencies for this. Also check that you have the change destinations command by p-denhert.

I suspect that you may still be missing some of the AJS points, or not have the most recent ones. As you're finding out, missing dependencies is one of TRS04's greatest weaknesses - CMP, for all it's faults (not many in TS2009/10) at least makes it quite clear what's missing.

p.s. There will be a version for TS2010 one day...
