Started today on Duluth in TS2009. I think I've got a feel now for how to use USGS terrain maps in Trainz. I've already gotten accurate placement of track throughout the map from Sandstone to Two Harbors. Hoping to get started on the Northstar route when I go to New Mexico in two weeks. My Ideas are progressing SLOWLY. I have been busy, so I haven't have time. Middle School takes a lot of work, but I am glad to help create content when I'm not busy. In other words, I haven't started.

Do you have drawings of those locos and cars you want?

I have been in deep into learning Blender and so far Im starting to get it..

I will send you some pics of the trains, btw the sw looks fantastic (I made a rectangle before i almost threw my computer across the room) I've been writing way too many papers to be doing anything lately, and there are finals this week XP. But I should be back on track next week.

Trying as I go to learn this thing for this and and for the real world as well..

I decided to join my projects with yukonzoom, if he'll let me. I can texture it for him, he is doing an F59PHI, when that is done, I'll help him with the MP36 I've planned, but we'll have to wait and see.

Coolio guys, I am trying to reskin the GO transit Bombardier cars, but I do not kn0w what program I can use to reskin :P
 
oh yeah, I also thought that we should have stuff like Target Field and the X, just to make it a bit more authentic.
 
If i can, the ones i have will show full interior, and have a working cab. The GO ones aren't good enough, I mean, there good, but are lacking on it's features. For updates on that stuff, I would check the F59PHI thread, or the thread I'd started. I've got to read tutorials, and I can make some better stuff soon.

You want to use paintshead reskin, but reskins aren't allowed by the creator by the release. You must have permission from Magicland. Or wit for me to finish my stuff.
 
uhh ok, but I think life would be way easier If we just used those and put cab horn bell interior etc. inside. just as a reminder I have papers to write every evening so... yeah
 
yep that reply above is for the one on the previous page. BTW i cannot use paintshed to reskin the GO cars
 
ok so this looks really cool. I don't know If I can do much, but If at all possible could I use that MP36 for the WCE colours? thatd b really awesome, and I can like paint train cars and stuff like that, and Is anyone here doing bilevels coz i need those too.

I have just repainted magicland's bombardier cars in Northstar livery, and I just downloaded the beta version of the F59PHI that I will likely paint in Northstar colors until I can wrap up my half done MP36DC locomotive. Stay tuned for more updates! BTW Dustin I can paint the bombardier cars in west coast colors, and I will paint the MP36 too once it is finished.

How has your MP36 been going? I've been working with Andre Lummis on a MP36. He has most of the drawings of the body done. He's gonna send the body to me soon for GMAX, and I will figure it out from there with help. There are shots, go check out my thread if you wish. It's also a MP36 project to, and Bombardier cars will be my 2nd project!:cool:
