Simply put, a young newbie joined the forum to say his ideas for future train events. But instead of learning about how to make them more realistic, he continued to spam these ideas across the forum like a personal chatroom. 'Nuff said, and he is fortunately (and deservedly) banned.
As for the 261 itself, there has been no news lately. The 261 is likely to be heading back to Green Bay (or maybe some new place), while the Friends of the 261, now named the "Railroading Heritage of Midwest America" is working out contracts for a new engine to rebuild. There are theories, but it's best to just wait for the announcement at this point
