Microsoft Train Simulator (X) II Release Q4 2008

:hehe:i dont know. SP2 fixed most of the horrible XP bugs. unfourtunatly they have yet to fix the bug in Vista that might forget that you have drivers for your major hardware. Vista is extreemly buggy.
OK now how is vista buggy? My computer works just fine with vista, all my other software runs just fine, TRS 2006 runs just fine, all my other games runs just fine, all my hardware runs just fine, and with vista SP1 installed it runs better. ME thinks you don't know what your talking about.

When I look at a release date for any new software/game I always take it with a large grain of salt. I have a Tank combat simulator that was supposed to be coming out with a updated second version, it was delayed for over a year, and then only came out for mil-spec use. I kind of gave up checking on it after another year. Maybe I'll check again today (release for non military use still TBA as of 8/20/08). Lesson learned, when I can get my hands on it I will believe it.

On the various problems preferences and issues of the available OS, any technician (or any one who fixes things we break) will tell you the first assumption will usually be operator error. This is due to the fact that they are usually right.

From the FAQ (quote)
Q: What is Train Simulator 2?
A: Train Simulator 2 is a PC simulation game that allows you to take the controls of a wide variety of locomotives and consists.

Phew! I'm glad they cleared that one up..

I watched a few videos on Youtube from the MSTS 2 demo at the Train show in Cali a while back. Those videos left a good impression. Not only was it interesting to see a live animated conductor it also helped to see the traffic on the highway. The next best part was going to their site and reading the new article about the animated passengers on the station. I also read somewhere else that someone spotted hikers and hunters on Stevens Pass in the Demo at Cali.

Anyone know what was shown at Lezpig yet?
