Distant Scenery is a pain in those open areas...

The scenery is expansive.
Must have been painstaking work flusi.
"Pain" it itself describes this project pretty well... :cautious:

Did reach another Milestone today though. The Line is complete all the way from km -15 (Steelmill) via 0 (Veracruz Harbor) up to km 86 (Orizaba) and further on to km 101 where the Iron Ore Mine will be built later this month. No gaps anymore, 116km / 72 miles fully completed and drivable

I like your mile markers too 😉

This is really great work Flusi - just one question are the ore cars above available anywhere?
Kind of, they are an older version of those https://www.trainsimdesign.com.br/product-page/vale-gde-pack-h1
These are 1000mm ones though

Also: Started grading and planning the next few Kilometers, down to "Tierra Blanca" (fictional) and the Linea G Branch off down to Guatemala. Ruling grade on this Part will be 1.30 % from 736m down to 512m - with speeds between 30 and 50mph.
Yeah, doesn't look like much, but keep in mind everything started like this. From Tierra Blanca on west the line will be higher speeds and double track for a while until reaching the coastal hills before the pacific
