I am creating my own route with TransDEM and Google Earth, using “How to use Google Earth and TransDEM to create routes for Trainz“. I am stuck at “Setup for Map Tiles Services”. It says to use the “TransDEM Program PDF File”. But I can’t find it. Anyone know to get it? Thanks funnnyfarm

Why not just use the built in Map Tile Servers to download the maps you need, from a choice of Google, OSM, Local Live (MS) or Yandex?

The Map Tiles Services is one of the download sources for maps from such places as the USGS National map data server. When using this in conjunction with your DEM, the map images are seamlessly placed next to each other to produce the map image of orthographic photos or topographic maps depending upon the source you choose.
