Major Tri State Area Project

I thought I'd work on something different this weekend. Starting to work on the Port Jervis line. This was taken at Suffern.

Thank you Thmas_The_Tank100. I'm not too familiar with this line but I pass by the suffern yards once in a while I drive on the I-87 Thruway.

If you dont mind me asking, will the Morris and Essex lines be included? Awesome Job!!

Thank you Amtrak20141864. Those lines will be included but I won't start working on them for a while. For now, I am making progress in the Bronx and a little on the Port Jervis line. For the next 30 days, I won't be making any progress on the route because I have to study for finals and would really like to end the semester with very high grades.

Most definitely. Don't want to fail because that would be money going down the drain. If I pass, see you in 30 days. For now, Trainz will have to take a seat in the back row

Good evening everyone. The semester is over. I think I did pretty well this semester. Now, I can get back to continuing work on the #2 subway line and Metro North railroad.

Some more scenery done along the #2 subway line. In the 2nd picture, would anyone have any suggestions for creating a better city scene for the the the area? My plan was to put different detailed buildings close to the tracks which are the main areas of focus and put tpr spline citystreet buildings far away from the track. I decided to use the spline street buildings far away from the track because the areas far away from the track are not the area of focus and they would be easier to load on the computer since they are low poly objects. The first picture takes place around Allerton Avenue on the #2 subway line and the 2nd picture shows the tpr spline city street objects in the distant areas around Burke Avenue. The third picture is around the Botanical Garden on the Metro North Harlem/New Haven line.

Thanks Amtrak2041864. Making so much progress on the route. I'm glad I took that hiatus from Trainz because I passed all my classes and finals. School starts at the end of January. The buildings that I used for my scenery along the #2 line are a combination of buildings built into Trainz and buildings from the dls and the Google Sketchup warehouse.

Progress update: So far, all tracks for the Harlem line has been extended to Wakefield. Tracks on the New Haven line have been extended to Mt. Vernon East and mileposts have been added to the route. Next, I'll continue to add scenery for the #2 subway line between Gunhill Road station and Pelham Parkway stations.

I completely forgot about that. For a second, I thought the New Haven line trains that stop at Fordham also make local stops. It might be the Harlem line train that makes the stop at Botanical Garden.
