Major Tri State Area Project

Announcement: I am starting my first day of college tomorrow and I would like to let everyone know that progress on the Major Tri State Area will most likely come to a crawl and I may seem to be less active on the forum due to the work load in college, even though I know I already work slow as a turtle when it comes to route creation in Trainz. Tomorrow, I will post pics of my latest work so far. All track work for the Sunnyside yard is complete with some scenery. I just made it to the Harold interlocking in Trainz. Wish me luck everyone :)

Here are some screenshots of my progress. Not alot of scenery but the main track work is complete for the sunnyside yard. Just have to put down some third rail and more catenary and then put down some more buildings and textures.

Kawasaki M8 testing at the Sunnyside yard for future service into Penn Station via Hellgate Bridge

The Long Beach express making no stops bound for Long Beach. It was scheduled to depart Penn Station at 10:09am but is way ahead of schedule.

LIRR M3 consist bound for Penn Station.

Here, we have a NJT Comet V consist with NJT P40BH at idle in the sunnyside yards waiting for it's next assignments.

Yup, Are you in college too TrainzFreak101? I'm making slow progress with this project since college has begun but every bit helps.

Trains4621, you cannot use those assets in TC 1&2. The first asset is build 3.4 (TS2010), and the second is build 2.9 (TS2009). In any case, they can be downloaded here.

On that note, I'll backdate my hornsound to build 2.9 to allow more users to run it.

i have 09 now and I already downloaded them but they wont show up

I have one for the M7 that I use for pretty much all my MNRR EMUs. It's based on the built-in enginesound, but instead of just a fade, it also pitch-shifts as you accelerate and decelerate.

The Harlem River and Park avenue tunnel are included in this map. I merged several DEM's together to create a trainz map that will cover most of the Tri State Area. I took a bit of a break on the Sunnyside yard and am now working on the the Metro North's upper Hudson line around the Beacon area.

I have a question - I see that this is from 2011, But I came across it, and this looks like an amazing project. Is it still being made? I found this interesting because I have been adding on to the Harlem Line in Trainz 2009, and I was going to make it go down to Grand Central Terminal. So is this still a work in progress? Thanks

P.S., I'm from the Tri State, so this caught my interest. Will this be on the DLS?

I am still working on the Major Tri State Project Area. Progress will be moving very slowly for a while because I am now in college. Last week, I began working on Metro North's Hudson line between Beacon and Cold Spring. I have some of the abandoned Beacon line and route 9S which runs on the side of the Hudson line. I am not sure if I will put this on the DLS or not when I am done but everyone will get it when the route is complete some way.

kicking it old School

I'm not sure weither or not the MP72 or MP75 went into Penn station but with the benifit of doubt I'm pretty sure that the MP72-75's went into service before the LIRR ever got their first M1 train set. And that means that the MP series probably went into Penn station. Hey malikrthr could show us a photo of your MP72/75 in your penn station? Iheard you managed modify and repaint the AMCU's in trainz 09.
