Mac Help needed

After a quick update, a quick question...even with the most recent back-up it appears that 2-3 days build prior to the crash is still missing.
dropped the missing kuid 663389 100360 Bretagne tzarc from the backup into one one of the local hash folders and the kuid reappeared in the content manager
So wondering if the Hash folder (or folders?) determines how recent the recovered files would be? How does one determine which is the correct Hash folder to put the file in. Not completely certain but I believe I had put the missing tzarc in the most recently modified one ( a leap of faith), corrected the "location unknown" but???

You are lucky that that worked. The correct way is to put the .tzarc file in the editing folder and then run a database repair by clicking on the Developer menu item and then Rebuild database.

I tried that, but without the actual kuid that is "location unknowm" open for edit a data base repair did nothing. : (
But I was able to recover all of the session by placing the backup tzarc in the local hash-00 folder , and not the most recently used folder.

Interesting. I need to look into that and see what results I get. In case you're wondering, no I won't use my working copy.
The .tzarc contains the data and some are named using the route or session name while others are the kuid only.

The unnamed files are interim saves and generally don't have everything.
