Low Level Platform Height

i recently started building a METRA route now the equipment is low level only and i was wondering if anybody could help me out with the following,


would the height from the car door to the plaltform be realistic? could a person get up onto the car from that platform height?

see i lower my plaltforms to -1.30 i'm not sure how much that is but that's how low platforms are on the route. Now is that realistic? Could anyone give me any tips?

Anybody got any ideas for this? because i want the height betweeen the platforms and the cars to be realistic, so it would seem that people could actually step up onto the car instead of jumping.

This height is probably correct for the platforms.

Most of the time in real life the conductor lowers the steps for the low-level platforms when he has to. Unfortunately in Trainz this isn't an option so you'll have to pretend that this is happening. The altnerative is to do a way with the low level platforms and put in 100% ADA compliant high level ones which are becoming more common anyway as stations are being renovated, or as I should say where I live they are.
