Still can't log onto Tane doesn't recognise my log in details for some reason. So therefor I can't download my recently purchased content. Can anyone help please.

Check if you didn’t make any mistake and if not remove all your details in the login ( username and password ) check if your internet connection, reboot your internet box, wait a minute and retry to login

Check on the Internet tab if you have a Disable Online Features tickbox. This must be unticked in order to download content.

Are you using the same login as you are for the forums and your My Trainz account?

Check other things too such as your firewall and antivirus, which might be blocking your connection to the My Trainz servers. Some antivirus programs can be a bit more picky and strict than others.

There are 2 ports that have to be open (correct permissions) to sign on to tane. Maybe someone knows offhand what they are. Help desk can tell you.

Here are 2 snippets (from N3Vand me ) from my successful efforts to sign on.

The patch installer will accept my login, but the Trainz Settings dialog will not.
I took your suggestion about the 3 ports that needed to be opened. For some reason, Windows 7 Home Premium firewall will not allow at least one of those ports through, but is not reporting the blocking. I made new incoming and outgoing rules for these ports using the Firewall Advanced Security facility (which is actually the MMC snapin). I still could not log in at that point. However I then used netsh commands to reset winsock, ipv4, and ipv6, and I can log on now.

Please also check that your modem/router or ISP are not blocking some outgoing ports that our software requires. You must be able to contact our servers on TCP ports 80, 443, and 11443.
