Loco-Maina like Trainz Session?

SD45T-2

Going back in time...
Is There a Rule that Removes All AI train Control?

I want to use Trainz to Create a Loco-Maina like session.

you just don't assign the drivers any orders. That simple.

EDIT sorry if that came off rude, but you can control all trains if you don't assign the drivers any orders, either in Surveyor (the "edit driver" tab in the rules) or by adding them in driver. then you can jump from train to train and control them yourself. not a good idea to have too many running without supervision though...beleive me, i've made that mistake before. having a cornfield meet is never fun, even if its only virtual.

Select your route and go to Driver, select the driver of each consist and click the green schedule arrow and select drive. Everything will go until it derails or hits something.

not if you just open the throttle and let them go. You could do it, but you'd have to keep jumping from train to train. not exactly my idea of fun.

I'm not sure if i follow you...are you making this from a session already in game or from scratch? If you made the session yourself, just don't give the drivers orders, its that simple. you can leave the drivers open and start the session, then assign them orders as you go. Maybe it would help if you explained the layout of your session (route, number or drivers, etc.) and what you're trying to do?

They Have orders When the session starts but you have to guide them were they have to be.
AKA, the AI trains Have no switch control.

ooh...i think i know what's wrong here. there should be a rule, somewhere, about switch control. search through the rules in the "Edit session" box and it should be there. that lets the AI control the switches.

I think? for all i know i'm making this up. I haven't played around with AI for a while now.

Might I suggest you use a driver command called "STW drive". It works like the drive command and the AI only go where the switches are set for them.
