Latest Build Number

Hi, I have just noticed that there is another patch available for TS2009 which takes you to Build Number 38599. This I have downloaded and tried to apply, but it will not let me. I am at build 38285. Can someone please tell me why I cannot apply the latest patch.

did you download the game through steam, if so steam games get updated automatically, well thats what im hoping anyway, as i bought mine through steam
