Being the epic trainz player i am..
I realize there's a lack of a few things on this game, Also some glitches
Custom Freeware cab for P32-8's by JR
Good SD70,80,90 and other cabs (freeware)
Decent Freeware cabs for C40-8's (Not JR )
and now the glitches!

No horn or bell button in P32/P42 cab for ProTrainzs P42's

RRMods has freeware Conrail SD80MACs. They do use the default EMD DD40AX cab though.

Uhh, Those cabs dont work in Trainz 12, Ive been using them since i got TRS 12

I've gotten them to work, just with the expense of the cab controls. But hey, it works!

It appears that the OP wants working, accurate cabs and controls for certain locomotives, and also does not want to have to pay to get them. Understandable, but I understand that a cab is one of, if not the most difficult of assets to model for Trainz. I think this fact alone will dictate that custom cabs will be, perhaps should be payware.
I salute those that spend so much time on cabs, and those that release freeware custom built from the ground up cabs are amazingly generous, but if it were me, they would be payware or at the least included with a payware locomotive.

forgive me if I sound rude
but I have learned that if you want something made for trainz
your better off making it yourself
so I taught myself how to make horns
and I had a friend help me with full reskins
I guess what I am trying to say is that I don't think this thread is necessary

I have realized, I am acting like a total ********** towards this, The cab has a horn switch.. Just its on the floor, I need to edit the attachment point for that. I know cabs take a while. I tried (once) making one. It was canned after 5 mins or less.. But, Euphod and 817.. THIS IS NOT a Gimmie Pig thread

So, It says there highlited and enlarged, Just so, You can see it.. I am now working on improving a cab by Auran, To include (Better) controls. I need to talk to JR about this, As i will use their controls to replace the ****ty built in ones, As well as the DD40AX. This project will be long, Trust me.. But i can try.
Most likely, I will redo the JR Dash-2 cab, With better controls (hopefully) and put it as a P32-8 cab that was tested but not put in for practical use. As soon as i get home from National Train Day tommorow, I will be working on this.

I never accused you of anything. I simply stated my opinion of your post and also agreed with you. There seemed to be some confusion over what you were asking for, with some posters believing you just wanted the cabs, even at the expense of working controls. That did not seem to me to be what you were after, so I posted to clarify the point. You mentioned freeware three times, which would lead some to assume that "you don't want to have to pay to get them". I have not slighted you in any respect, nor have I misunderstood your post.

You certainly seem to have misunderstood mine, do I have to highlight and enlarge that for you? I hope not, for that kind of response would be just as ungracious as yours above.
