"Trouble at the Main Gate!" (US Steel Provo, Utah Mill.) Part Two.

US Steel's Public Relations Director Jane Snow shouted over the racket from the news helicopter into her phone to the CEO of US Steel. "It's more than trouble Mr. Stone. The media is asking about our retention pond issues. Stone barked back "you better get on top of this disaster and make it disappear!"
"Yes sir, I'm owed some favors from the Rio Grande Railroad here in Provo, I'll ask them to send in the MOW team!"

"Trouble at the Main Gate!" (Soldier Summit, Utah.) Part Three.

The Rio Grande Railroad Soldier Summit MOW Team was fully scrambled and under the orders of Johnny Brawn their Foreman. A convoy of trucks idled ready to depart for Provo. Next to them on the Wry track special MOW Train number ninety nine was standing by. Mr. Johnny whistled for all to "Huddle up around me!"

"Thank you all for the quick response, we got a real s#&* storm in Provo at the US Steel Geneva Mill. Those hapless bastards have a water treatment plant and lagoon ponds going critical due to excessive toxins they didn't deal with. This will cause unfixable damage to the water table & lake if not fixed."

"We will be working with the state and local fire and police to get it under control. Pumping out the lagoons might not work, if so we will fill you in on next actions when we get to that point."

Everyone lets mount up, pull out in the order we have the trucks and train assembled." Mr. Johnny nodded to a Highway Patrol Officer, "Above all stay safe, follow any order and/or directions from the Utah Highway Patrol. They are with us all the way to Provo with orders from the Governor for no one to get in the way of the Soldier Summit MOW Team!"

Note: Will see if I can just keep adding to this page so as to not overload the forum with multiple posts. This just took off me, just had one pic with the tough looking Police with the beautiful but evil PR lady at the main gate and I got off on a tangent! Should be building the dang route so I can release it.

Trying another switching module with Trainz22+. Mostly street running, inspired by Approach Medium's Cross Harbor route...

The dilapidated streets would much harder, if not impossible, in earlier versions. Street damage assets by TheFue.

Best,
smyers
Absolutely stunning as always @smyers.

", inspired by Approach Medium's Cross Harbor route..."???? Would love to know more about this?

Cheers,
Piere.

Hey Guys!
The Cross Harbor route is a work in progress. You can see how he's doing on YT...

Should be quite something.
Best,
smyers

PS Thx Piere. With the small brush sizes you can actually paint individual cobblestones!
Ahh, thanks for the info. I'll keep an eye on that.

Cheers,
Piere.

Thank you for sharing these wonderful pics.

May one inquire as to which route they were taken?

Thank You Bookman1960, much appreciated :).

Of course you can. This is the route, with everything set to Winter conditions: http://trainz.krb.com.pl/download/korsze-elk-olecko-seasons

There's another V.2 version of the route, but I haven't tried it yet: https://trainzmaps.kolej.org.pl/download/elk-korsze-olecko-sezonowa-v2/

Best regards Claus

Edit: I just tried this version of the route: https://trainzmaps.kolej.org.pl/download/elk-korsze-olecko-sezonowa-v2/ , and if it's about Winter scenery and Winter atmosphere, I very much prefer the older version of the route (the one used in the screenshots, post 1,234).
