The swing bridge is 587 ft. long. I would like some opinions. Is that too long for a swing bridge?

Hello from France , as an architect (retired) I think it depends of the country where the bridge is installed, and if there is a risk of tornadoes... The length depends on the size of the largest ships that can navigate the channel... Otherwise a good ingineer could propose such a bridge..

In France we have such a bridge :

A bit shorter, in the south of France by the mediterrnean sea , it is 114 m long for the rotating part (https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pont_de_Caronte)

Exist in Trainz by Fred24 in kuids : <kuid2:185550:28046:1>,<kuid2:185550:28048:1>,<kuid2:185550:28050:1>,<kuid2:185550:28047:1>

I used it in my map Lambersart to Merville .

I remade my bridge and scaled it back to 445ft. Which is long for 1910. Look at the smoke. This a "fixed track" asset. Isn't there a line to add to the config to fix that? Enjoy, Don
