Hello all,

I edited a BN GP30 by JoshEH. I gave it new bogeys, horn, bell etc.
I've sent him a PMs and yesterday read that he left the community. I really want to release the GP30, so is there any way to contact him?

Perhaps posting a Fraps video before; and after, the new effects were added, would help us to see if your additions are worthy of change and new release.

Fraps is free and easy and posting via Photobucket is also free and easy.

I edited that EMD GP30 quite a long time ago. It's quite a great learning curve locomotive. Please ensure you have permission to release the content you used with the locomotive. For example, you don't want to use a bogie from a payware locomotive, for it would cause quite a problem for those who are very used to going out and purchasing content. I really would love to post the asset's license, but my Content Manager is rebuilding the Trainz asset database. So I'll wait.

Josh has his own 3D web site. You could do a google for something like josh Harvey 3d.

I contacted him last year to get permission to reprint his tutorials. he's a very nice person to deal with, but I have no idea what his thoughts are about people wanting to reskin his stuff. That's something you'll have to ask.
