JointedRail stuff [screenshots/renders]

Looks great, these will come in handy for me. Norfolk Southern used to use this type car and still does some times to haul coal in what they call Coaltainers, which were basical 1/2 hight open top 20ft containers.

-That it does but the 60+ mile trip from Mojave to Barstow could be a little boring! 70 mph though does sound fun!

I've driven that stretch of highway hundreds of time and yes it is boring. It get interesting when you get buzzed by a F18, F15 or F117 from Edwards Air Force Base though. I even saw a B2 once. Those are the exception. Not the rule.

You could do the joint line between Denver and Colorado Springs, maybe even down to Pueblo. The nostalgia alone would probably kill me though. (I get homesick for my former home alot.)

-i thought about it, since i'm here in denver, i also thought about tennessee pass too.
-the thing about doing a line out of denver is DENVER! theres so much stuff its ridiculous! i also thought about doing the UP line to cheyenne, but then again, the denver area stops me!

Socalwb909, how about something based in the east like the Pocahontas or NS Blue Ridge district or the NS Piedmont Corridor from Charlotte,NC to Washington, D.C.
