JointedRail stuff [screenshots/renders]

duh! of course, sorry bout that. They're on the DLS, a series of different embankments. Search j_embankment by jim_spb. I'm almost positive those are the ones felix_g is using, they look just like the ones in the pics, but only Felix can confirm

Thanks, it appears I already had them. oh well, I'll give'em a whirl next time I load up Trainz.

BTW, Sp9813, I'm not normally a fan of modern/Southwestern US stuff, but your screenshots are always great to look at, sometimes they even give me an idea or two for my own work(sadly not shown very often).

Thanks folks!

Yep those are the ones.
And I agree with drphlox, lots of great shots coming from you lately sp9813!

Anybody know the dimensions of this building? I am making a small layout, and the measurements would let me know if I have room for it, pending future release.

Was this building ever made available, or is it a pending release?

Thanks.

Must be unreleased. There is a ton of stuff I need to get released too, it should be coming here soon as the route all this will get used on is almost done.

OoooOOOOooooOO! :udrool:

I spy BN caboose!

I have special places for that caboose . . . special places . . .

Absolutely fantastic shots, Conrail! :D Looking forward to that BN caboose a little . . . :p

Repost from the other thread! Train 562 rolls eastbound out of Long Island City Yard, passing the crew office (container) adjacent to the switching lead. Port Jefferson and Montauk crews switch on the headlights of their respective locomotives, and prepare to follow 562 out. The usual pair of 'freight' E15s does the honors tonight for this crew who called on duty here and will make another round trip to Oyster Bay before the night is over.

Nice shot there Knifeswitch. Is it alright if you can show us a Overhead shot of that yard from above. I would like to see how the whole yard looks like because it looks amazing. Well done.

Thanks -- as requested.. The camera is facing west in this angle, so the northernmost two tracks are 0 and 1 Station (Long Island City station), continuing through 2 Track up to 12 Track at the southernmost side. 9-12 Track are electrified and it would be fairly common around this time period to see an M1/M3 set or two laid up here alongside trains after the morning rush, and prior to the evening rush. This was/is the domain of the YPD-131 crew who typically enjoyed an E10 (SW1001) for their more comfortable switching provisions until summer 2013, at which point E15s (MP15ACs) became the only drill power to show around here.

Another looking east towards the 11th St. crossing and the Lower Montauk Branch, where an access point to the Mainline at Hunterspoint Ave. splits off. From that point, the Lower Montauk and Mainline essentially parallel each other until Jamaica.

Its not that we dont like them, there are alot of differences ( some albeit very small) on some of the Canadian roads that requires alot of model changes that we simply havent done. In due time we will do more CN and CP.
