JointedRail stuff [screenshots/renders]

Oh... YES! I've been waiting for MPI content to be in Trainz ever since I first saw a UTA MP36 in Nampa, fresh from MPI in 2007.

Personally, I'd like to see an MK5000C, complete with Caterpillar V12 3612 diesel enginesound, an MP20C-3 and MP20B-3, both with MTU-Detroit Diesel 12V4000R33 enginesound.

That MP36 is looking amazing! It'll be nice to run them on UP freight trains on the Nampa Sub whenever I get around getting that route to a usable status.

Nice work there SimulatorTrain. :) Quick question will the hatch open and close on the top of this cars as an animated feature or will they be just static?

Thanks Jcitron!

Any chance of doing any Acf 2 bay hoppers

Hopefully at some point. I'm sure I'll be very sick of covered hoppers by the time I'm done with all of these, but when the itch comes back maybe I'll go on an ACF kick. We definitely need the little 2-bays with the triangular cutouts, as well as the earlier non-Canadian cylindricals. I think our Centerflow could use some work too, including 2-bays this time.

Almost done with the UP car, just needs a consolidated stencil and a bit of road grime. Quite a contrast to the Reading car. Of note on the UP car is the presence of the sheet metal waves, which I'm speculating is due to the use of thinner steel for the sides.

So, remember that time I showed a Reading hopper? Yeah... it was wrong. I somehow failed to notice the low brake wheel, end ladders, and shorter overall length of the prototype. However, I did notice that tonight, and now it's correct. The three cars that are finished so far each have their own unique mesh. Compare it to the old one!

So, with that finished, on to the L&N cars (with two more meshes required)!

Did you ever see one of those MP32 things for SunRail? Wow those things are ugly. I've been waiting for somebody to catch on to the MP36's.... 'Bout time the boys here in Boise got some respect, they work hard and are a significant employer in the area!
mp32's are just the old MARC units rebuilt with cleaner engines and the new cabs

I know quoting pictures is frowned upon, but since it has been so long I shall in case the photo is needed to refresh anyone's memory.
I know it has been over 1 year and 5 months since this was mentioned, but I wondered what had happened to these engines (the GE particularly) as I had mentioned the Southern GE C & U classes in the Jointedrail "No Locomotive Left Behind" survey, and am enthralled by these and would love to know if these beauties are available for purchase, or ever will be.

I also love these, and was wondering what happened too.

Hopefully those of us that love the GE high hoods will find out, as I sent Justin ( norfolksouthern37 ) a private message asking about them. I personally hope they can be released, and don't mind if it is as payware or freeware.
