Looks like an MLW Zero Weight Transfer truck that the M420 series of locomotives rode on? I could be wrong though. Looks awesome regardless!

It does look quite nice and now that I think about it, it could be for some 2 axel MLW locos since he is doing the tumbler ridge project.

Based on your love for BC Rail at the moment, I'd like to guess they're the trucks for BCOL 1700, the Whistler Northwind loco! It looks GE in nature, but doesn't quite match up for the B39-8Es or B36-7s. The only logical conclusion then is that it belongs to the M420Ws and Bs. I'm not an alcohaulic, but B units are popular at JR at the moment. So my final guess is M420B!

Edit* Holy cow! In the time I sat here and stared at the trucks and wrote the post, there were another half dozen comments! Guess my thought process wasn't so slick after all

whole lot of you got the answer. It is indeed the ZWT trucks for an M-420W. I'm not only doing M420's but many other locos for BC rail. The M420 is actually textured, just needs bump/spec maps and to be imported. You can also bet on me making the B units. :wave:

Hello everyone, today I have a depressing story. I was very far into the progress of this BCR M420W. Suddenly one day I flattened my main map PSD and accidentally saved it as the original PSD instead of a TGA. I didn't even realize I did that, and then Photoshop crashed for the first time in my near 4 years of using it essentially erasing all progress of that main map PSD.

Moral of the story, save your PSDs normally lol

on the bright side, this will look a lot more polished on the second go around.

Ah... Lessons like that... Yeah... I tend to keep multiple .psd files saved just in case things like that happen.

Hello new prototype, goodbye current Trainz roster. Those are insanely nice.........I wonder what other BC Rail units you have hidden away in the workshop.........perhaps an M630 or something else similar? I think there is a takeover of CP and BC rail power going on with my roster.
