just assuming you are using the tfx to do the startup. there is a tag "start_smoke_offset" that is the number of seconds between the beginning of the start wav sound and when the smoke should start.

it goes in your locomotive extensions container. if it isn't there it defaults to 12 or something along those lines.

I have GE startup and shutdown sounds too, but i never have been convinced by the way this method works (even though i wrote it i dont really like it).

Still working on the cabs for the CR widecabs ( uses a different GE display than what we currently have made) and I dont believe we've started on NJT P40's as of yet, but its something we do want to do given the popularity of the commuter lines.

Speaking of commuter interest, have you considered the P32AC-DM's? They wouldn't require any huge model changes, and they have a couple of pretty snazzy schemes. [Image link 1] [Image link 2]

Been loving my P42. Really worth the money and very fun to play with. Can't wait for all the heritage units!

A Metro North P32AC-DM made by the Jointed Rail crew would be out of this world awesome . I am curious, since Amtrak cars are in the works, would you consider making Metro North shoreliner push pulls to go with the P32AC-DM and some EMU's like the cosmopolitans, M7 and M8's. I don't mean to sound like a gimmie pig.
