That is an absolutely fantastic looking model! Very nice work!

The horns look like the WABCo Pneuphonic A&B airhorns as fitted to a few other locos of the era, such as the VR's B class and flat top T class. I think the S class' also had them on the 'flat' end. SAR 930's and 830's also had them, and maybe the NSWGR 44 class?
There's a VR B class hornsound on the DLS that should be suitable for this design of horn
Just remember, Aussie horns tend to be tuned differently Or more, we just rarely tune them properly 
Prior to the 1980s Aussie locos tended to use RVB (Aussie made), Wabco, and Leslie horns. Nathans didn't really appear till the 1980s on new locos, and much later on existing locos. We also tended towards 5 chime horns in small 'clusters' on hood locos.
That said, a quick google search seems to indicate these only ever had the twin horns, which I only know of Wabco horns being setup this way on Aussie locos

Thanks Zec, The plans only show two horns either side front and back of the cab mate so i have that part correct but i'll check out that VR B Class Sound if i can get it that far lol. Wish Trainz only involved modeling this stuff and showing off Renders getting it all working in game and animation is driving me up the wall :'(.

Sweet looking box car by any means. Any chance of the BN, WP, ATSF, or SP colors on this one?

I'm not sure whether any of those had this exact car, but a number of builders had similar cars. I probably will not skin them myself if they aren't exact models of prototype cars but I will probably also put out PSDs.
