JointedRail stuff [screenshots/renders]

@CattyPatty
I was having the same problem as well. In my case I had to update to CM 3.6
Check to see if the software is outdated.

Love all these shot's lately. I have a question about the SP Dash 9. Say I bought the single locomotive from the payware section. Does that come in 3 different weathered versions like the BNSF one's do?

Yes same deal as the BNSF ones. Theres a skins file that goes with it that will randomly drop different ones occasionally.

Will the RS1s from the Midwest Grain Pack ever be released as a stand alone item? They look awesome and I'm very interested in those in particular, but I'd rather not purchase the entire pack for a single locomotive. If not then I'll end up buying the pack as the other stuff looks great as well.

I don't believe they plan to release it separate, the closest you'll get anytime soon is once I release MIRR's RS1E as a standalone. ;)

I don't think there are plans to release that unit separately, but don't worry, there will be more available soon. (If anyone reading this is in a position to provide high quality recordings of an ALCo 539T prime mover, soon may be sooner.)

Oh now that is even better. Good luck on finding those engine sounds. Anyone that gets close enough to record it probably also picks up their own hacking and coughing from the exhaust.

I vote for more Alcos! The features and details on the new RS1 are GREAT and I'd happily pay for a bunch of professional RS1 / RS2 / RS3 units in various schemes. No offense to the folks who continue making and improving the freeware Alcos of course!

Will you guys do anymore versions of your track? Like rusty or rare use and maybe over grown? Your track is the best i can find, but would look odd in use on a short line. :confused:

Does the ALCO rs2 have the same engine sounds as the rs3 because I live close to the texas state railroad and I might be able to get some recordings of the engine.

According to the Texas State Railroad's website their RS2 has been rebuilt with a Caterpillar prime mover. I don't think original RS2s used the 539T anyways though.

RS-2 and RS-3 would both have the 244 prime mover, but that's not what simulatortrain is looking for... he does need the 539T, which can be found on the RS-1, S-2 and S-4. Or two 539T's on a DL-109... :)

Trainz user 'therock' from Jointed Rail has some Alco 539T enginesounds, but they don't sounds with the transition from throttle notches
