I am not going to pay $40 for SD70MAC that does not have ARN, or will not even run on my computer...

It's all good dude. I'm a happy customer, I know most people think CG's prices are unreasonable, but I support him anyway, the world keeps on spinning. I'm just tryin to tempt JR by letting them know that if I can pay that much for one locomotive without ARN, that I would do the same for a custom reskin as pictured above. Not trying to brag but me being a model railroader anyway, I just might pay the $200 for that HO scale model too.
 
Forgive me as my familiarity with the various workings of modern diesel locomotives, or any locomotive for that matter, is scant at best. Is there enough of a similarity between the AC4400's and Dash 9's so that the Trainz model just needs minor adjustments like the JR ES44AC's vs the ES44DC's or are they completely different beasts?

they are very similar yes.
 
Neat, I was looking at pictures of the two and it was feeling like one of those "find the differences between these two images" that get stuck on the back of cereal boxes. Those models are downright beautiful. I used to see NS Dash 9's nearly everyday, but they've slowly been forced out by newer SD70ACe's and GEVO's. They bring back fond memories of when I first took an interest in railroading.

Something Else Jointed Rail Needs, More CN Loco's like the SD70M-2, SD70I, and the SD50F's.

If Jointed Rail added these to their CN Roster I would buy every Loco under CN. I would love to have these for TrainzMI CN Flint Sub.
