I think it has something to do with this I found on Google: The 1986 World Exposition on Transportation and Communication, or simply Expo 86, was a World's Fair held in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada from Friday, May 2 until Monday, October 13, 1986

When I was a kid, it was the name of a baseball team that played in Montreal. They've since moved and are now the Washington (DC) Nationals.

Do they even have Expos or World's Fairs as we tend to call them anymore? I remember going to the New York World's Fair back in 1965 when I was a toddler.
