JointedRail stuff [screenshots/renders]

Did anyone notice that it has "expected release 2030" written under it in white? But at least it's being released! :hehe:
I think he really wanted to see if anyone would notice it. :hehe:

I recognized that engine from a thread about it a long while ago somewhere around here, but I don't remember which one it was. I watched a video on it at the time at it really is a remarkable story. They also demonstrated it's strength by pulling 10 loaded grain cars with it. I guess the little engine knew it could!

Thinking back now, I believe I remember them saying that the bogey was that of a SD__ (obviously), the "nose" was a standard snoot nose, and the cab was some sort of a standard switcher cab. It's really a compilation of parts to make one well-round compact machine.

It looks like a snoot nose and SW cab, but I'm not sure. The trucks are pretty obvious though.:hehe:

IIRC, most of their stock comes from Scrapped CP/CN SD-40-2s. Also, I think they build most of the hood, just use the Angled Nose.

Thanks everyone, like Justin mention this is a TP56 loco by TractivePower Corp. You can follow the link that's been posted above and it will take you to their site where there is alot of pictures and videos. To cut along story short the cab is former CP 5805 (SD40-2) while the hood was fully reconstructed and use minimal of 5805 nose if any. Currently this is the initial TP56 and it was sold to Parish & Heimbecker Limited of Winnipeg, Manitoba 'P&H' in December, 2014. TractivePower has stated that these can come with Tier 4 industrial Standards and will also be looking into Natural Gas re-power and alternatives in the future, with that being said hopefully a few more of these will pop up soon. Initially they can pull 10 hoppers comfortably.

I need your help! This is a 60' car built by Thrall in the mid-60s, and it seems like it should have been a somewhat common design. At least, more common than just Norfolk & Western, which is the only prototype I can find pictures of. If you can find pictures of the same car owned by any other road, I'll make it. (If you find a different car owned by another road, I won't make it.) Below is a picture of the prototype:

Take note of the very deep fishbelly and the trucks which are inset significantly from the ends. I am not looking for a GSC car with trucks closer to the end and a shallower, more complex fishbelly. I am also not looking for other 60' cars with straight side sills. Any help is appreciated, and good hunting.

Edit: I beat you all. This isn't exactly the same car, but it's only a few feet shorter. I'll probably make it anyway:

If you can find more, I'd like to see them.

I don't know if this is one or not, Adam, but from what I can read it appears to be pretty close. Belonging to the "Lake Superior & Ishpeming", in the late 80's.

The LS&I is a very unique railroad considering its main power consists of C30-7s and CEFX AC4400CWs! I got the chance to tour their main shops while I was at my Michigan Tech camp however I don't recall seeing those there :(

It would be very nice to see them in Trainz, however!

I had personally never heard of it before, (I don't believe), but from the photos I saw on the page it is (was?) a very unique operation!
