JointedRail stuff [screenshots/renders]

Why has JR not hired Erik by now? :p

If they did, my wife would definitely take my credit card away.

I don't get this hatred at JR, or any content creators for making payware. Maybe because I'm older but I'm a believer in Free Enterprise, Capitalism and all that. You don't have to buy it if you don't want to. They are not obligated to make free stuff. It's unfortunate if you don't have the money, but that's life in the real world. There are many things that I want that I can't afford.

Yea, I don't recall ever having been asked. I may have the old ones someplace but 2004 was a long time ago. I have no current plans to bring them back from the dead.

If you ever find them and decide to release them that will be greatly appreciated!Sorry for sortof de-railing the thread. Can discuss further via pm if that is ok.

@Erik

Impressive screenshots!!!

Fictional Russia Iron Boiler Jacket on the earlier prewar version of the SP SP-1 4-10-2.
wait its fictional?
nothing wrong with fiction, but i like me some trains that really existed.
anyway great job as always, my review will be going up on youtube real soon. as its pretty much the sp-2 with some pre-war details, i decided to compared the pre-war to the post-war mostly because i have a weird fetish for comparing things :P

up here in canada we're all about safety eh? even though nothing ever happened to the rear of a train, we still run our helpers facing away from the consist and have an emergency light on every caboose or rear-car.

also, since we only have the two lines through the rockies(ironically both just being the same line just separated a bit) we have a lot of traffic coming through those two lines, and since cn owns one and cp owns the other, both lines get huge amounts of traffic each day.
if you want to railfan in canada that is the place, the rockies get about a train every 20 or so minutes.

Hi Cameron,

Fictional or not I still like the Russia Iron boiler jacket on the SP2. It would be nice, though, if JR and Lilb have an inclination to do some other iterations of the SPs, possibly including a disc main driver, as well as a second sand dome.

wait was the version lilb posted on here the sp-1 he just released or an un-released sp-2?

well i was showing that the number exist on the mac loco
heres on with the correct number
may20134.jpg

ive been looking at pics with the nose mounted lights and the numbers are 9000-9369

if you care so much why don't you just change the numbers?
sure its not as easy as just plopping one down and getting a number, but it sure beats changing the config files and re-uploading a piece of content because of one guy's complaint.

either way its well worth the money, i just hope he brings out a prototypical one too.

:udrool::mop: looks amazing. should be in t2 not ts12.

This can actually be possible now in HO scale with the release of the Sergeant knuckle couplers. How someone ever managed to make couplers that look THAT realistic in HO scale I'll never fully figure out most likely.
