JointedRail stuff [screenshots/renders]

Those Geeps look great! Can't wait to see what's in the cab and if any GTW blue show up! Long hood forward!

Good to see more EL locomotives being made. East Coast fallen flags, especially the Conrail predecessor roads, are woefully underrepresented in Trainz. Plus the SDP45s, and the other 'passenger' modified version of EMD hood units, are just interesting little designs. I feel like I'm the only person interested in 60s and 70s US railroading so I start foaming at the mouth when someone does a unit like this.

Also, man, you are really pumping this stuff out. RS1s, those auto parts boxcars, the hoppers that were recently released, and now this. I'm sure I forgot something in there. I swear I remember seeing some P&WV Fairbanks Morse units back in there somewhere too. Good work.

The NS one is, but the CSX is a Dash 8. CSX doesn't have any -9s anyways.

They bought 50 pre-production ones.

And here's proof.

Didn't know that about the CSX Dash 9s. I just figured they opted only to purchase the AC4400CWs. Reading about them it seems like they are externally Dash 8s, but their guts are Dash 9s.

worth noting that these all have a carbody like a dash8 with the only external difference being the radiators and steps on some units. the rest is internal. some were classed as a CW44-8 and now are CW40-9 as the whole lot have been de-rated. they did not come with the dash 9 hi-ad trucks because they were not available at the time.

also their cabins resemble the dash8 style cabin with gauges and not computerized! They use the Das9s in my area for mixed freight usually coupled to a sd70 mac.
