Jointed Rail - Utah Belt GP38 problem

Flux Capacitor
I bought the Mega Pack and have a small problem with the GP38, and thought I'd ask here if anyone else has this issue. It seems the physics model is not quite right. If I'm running it by itself as a single engine, and put the throttle in notch 1, it takes off like a Ferrari and will accelerate to 20 MPH and beyond in just a few seconds. And then if I apply the independent brake, it will stop on a dime, 20 MPH to 0 MPH in 1 second. Anyone else have this problem. The SD40 seems fine. I haven't driven any of the others yet. I have sent an email to Jointed Rail, but I know they are busy and thought I should also post here. I hope this post doesn't come across as me griping or complaining.

Thanks,
Mark

i havent heard of that but i know if i change anything on the locos and the arn and the special features go away or are messed up

I Know. In 09 and above you need new engine specs. Now if I can find that post.

i changed a couple of their enginespec's and had no problems. my problems was they wouldn'tgit up to more than half of the speed limit where they were running. try tsp enginespec's.

i tried to change the horns on them
and the engie sounds
and when i went to see the loco in driver the arn and all the numbers were gone and the special features didnt work
any ideas?

the locomotive has since been fixed, but the problem was i missed a '0' in the mass number so it was very very light. the engine specs are very tuned and probably the best you can find, the problem was just that the locomotive was as light as a pickup truck.
