Today was referred to register as new user page...past user name and pass word did not work.
Re-registered, but no email reply to validate email adress as of now, many hours later.
Link now shows "404 Page Error" page not found.
No pages on site appear despite repeated attempts.

Any suggestions? Is it down for repair/update?

JohnMac

If this should be elsewhere, apologize!

No problem getting there, John.

Try clearing your cookies and internet cache files and trying again.

Tnx JC....

Will try again...

Need a few dependencies specific to their site to work on content upgrades to TS12.

Hi John:

ARN Library kuid 2:104733:2501038:4
SFX Library kuid 2:104722:2502000:!

Just getting back to Trainz, with TS12...trying to get some old favorites in, and add some new stuff. What a bugger TS12 is...

But did manage today to get roughly a dozen locos from my TRS 04-06 backups repaired and commited error free.

Thank the gods for PEV's tools....think I had best send him a generous donation!

I went looking, but I don't have them otherwise I'd send them to you.

PEV's tools are great. I too fixed a ton of content with them. One day we had a virtual toast honoring him for his great work. I too will send him a donation when I get some extra cash. I've had a ton of extra bills this month with my car insurance kicking in with its annual payments. This took a big hunk from my wallet this month along with my student loans and living expenses.

Once you get past the new bumps with TS12, you'll find it to be a bit more spunky than the older versions.

Hi John:

I do indeed like TS12, by and large. It has some oddities, but I think I shall get accustomed to them.

One thing I miss is the ability to load and run a route without having to create a session...or perhaps I am missing something that would allow me to do so.

I pity you the days of student loans....mine are long past and paid in full...even in the days of 20+% interest rates!

Retired now...so keep paying those taxes so my Social Security keeps coming!

If no email by the morning from TPR about my registration, I shall try to contact them directly.

TNX for your replies.

Regards:

JohnMac

BTW: How far away fro Clinton, Mass. are you ? We have family there we plan to visit

I've also been registered with them for a few years, but, I think TPR changed their website over to 2 servers, one for the forum and one for the download section, and as such you now need to have a separate log-in for each area. I'm sure you can use the same nickname and e-mail address etc, I don't remember seeing any confirmation e-mail from them at all though, and I've been merrily visiting the sites for weeks now, without any problems gaining access.

Cheerz. ex-railwayman.

They do send out a confirmation e-mail, it contains a link that you have to go to, to activate your account.
I would get in touch with them, it seems something has gone awry for you.

ex-railwayman is quite correct, you can use the same nickname and e-mail address for both servers (forum & download depot).

Thanks for the input. Still no confirming email, so I shall email Meridious.
I can access the forums, but not the downloads area....and indeed they are hosted on separate servers.
Perhaps it will be sorted out in short order.

Clinton is about an hour or so west of me - out near Hudson, Fitchburg, etc. An ex-GF lives out that way. I frequent Ashburnham and the Frederick Collection, which is due north of Clinton. www.frederickcollection.org

I've only begun my payback of the loans, and I've just hit my 50 this year. I'll be paying these off until I'm put in the ground!

There is supposedly Quick drive, but I've never used it. I find that overall exiting to a session and running the route is a little better because of system resources. I even did that when the QD was introduced I think in 2004.

When we get up to Clinton....(not in the Winter!!!)

I'll be in touch, and we shall get together for a brew!

Problem solved at TPR.
Re-registered with slightly differnt username, same password and email address.
Got email with confirmation link almost instantly.
Now I can get a few bits and pieces needed to get a few things working in TS12!
