Is there any remedy for crashing on rebuild?

I have no idea what happened, but suddenly every time I bring my TRS22PE SP6 up, it goes into DBR and gets a certain way and then disappears. I have tried bringing up the launcher and hitting CTRL-Rebuild to do an Extended DBR, but the same thing happens. Is there any way to break the cycle or figure out what is causing it to crash? At this point it is not usable, and I am thinking I could try an uninstall/reinstall, but if it is an issue with the database I am not sure I can use the same data? Thanks for any ideas!

One possible solution is to increase virtual memory; something similar happened to me once when I was trying to rebuild the database with a lot of content installed.

Thank you for the suggestion. I had it set for a minimum of 1X (16GB) and a maximum of 3X. I increased it to a minimum of 1.5x and restarted, so we will see how it goes. I will try to note what stage it is at when it disappears.
EDIT: It looks like that may have been it, @Frank_Dean, because it has been running an extended DBR for almost 6hrs now nonstop. Thank you again for the tip!

That's a good one to remember. I've made a text note of this and added it to my Trainz Tech-Info/How To folder.
