Is there a way to still get the TBS J35 2-8-0?

I have a backup of it but I tried importing it into Trainz 22PE and I get errors. Especially this one. <kuid2:46075:10101:2> : Not a valid archive file: 'kuid2 46075 10101 3.tzarc' (error: 0) I have no idea how to fix it and if the cdp is corrupted then I'm out of luck i guess.

Copy the .tzarc to the editing folder.
Run a DBR.

That is supposed to import the .tzarc file.

I imported it into a separate installation of 22PE SP6 131965 and it worked. The other Trainz 22PE was still on SP5 and this loco was faulty when I installed it. I'm not sure if running a DBR would fix it in that version.

That's how .tzarc files are imported now. You need to do the DBR to import them.

We used to be able to use VMM's tzarc viewer to extract the file to a folder then drag the folder into Content Manager to import the content, but that's broken now. Since SP5, the .tzarc files are compressed more causing the program to fail.

What you can do is since the locomotive is imported successfully in pre SP5 TRS22, export the loco and its dependencies to a .cdp and put that in a safe place such as an external back up drive.

Yes, there are no errors in Trainz 19 and Trainz 22 build 131965, but it is faulty in my Trainz 22PE SP5. There must be an issue with my SP5 install that is causing the error. I suppose that if I install the SP6 patch for that 22PE install then it might fix the error. I have more content in that 22 install vs. the separate SP6 install. I installed a separate SP6 because the Pennsylvania and Berwind route was crashing Trainz when I tried to open it in 22 SP5, but it works fine in the 22PE SP6 131965 install.

That's because the P&B was created in SP6. Updated content can cause weird things to happen if it's installed in older versions. This is due to many reasons including updated scripts.

As I said, if you can install the asset, gather it along with the dependencies and export it to a cdp.
