Looking For A High Detailed Model Of A 2-8-8-4 Yellowstone Locomotive

Hey, everyone! I've been looking for the 2-8-8-4 Yellowstone locomotive but I want a highly detailed model of it! If anyone knows where to find one, I'd be very grateful! I've been wanting to expand my collection of American steam heavy haulers and I figured that a Yellowstone would be the perfect addition to my collection! If anyone knows where to get one, I'd really appreciate it!

Did you even TRY to google this loco?

I swear you new kids on the block are so frink'n lazy LOL.

Do you youngins even read? he said "A High Detailed Model" - this barely counts.
The thing is almost as old as I am. And paul's models to me have always just looked... a bit off.

Some of his meshes look pretty good, but they all need massive texture updates.
I swear if he joined the K&L or Trainz Forge teams they could retire just updating his old meshes into useable models.

Well, he is apparently satisfied with the choice I linked him to, right ? He did say thanks ;) Post 3.
One man's "detailed" is another man's "not detailed"? Something like that, LOL

At 62, I'm in the "youngins" class anymore. I'm in the cranky old man class I think.

62? Yep... you're still in the "youngins" class. You don't graduate into the "Cranky old man" class until your 65th birthday. Ask me... I got a masters degree in it. 🤣

Sorry to revive this thread but I did see Paulz Trainz had a fairly detailed model of the Southern Pacific AC-9, which was a 2-8-8-4 steam locomotive! I've seen pictures of it on Google but I'm not sure if Paul sells it through his website or not.

Maybe it's kind of like Social Security, the full age keeps going up. The older you get, the older "old" gets! I am 70 and starting to feel my Curmudgeon years coming on!
I've already reached those years at 64. My patience people and with things is getting shorter and shorter as time goes on.

That statement is absolutely valid, and the fact that modern day society is the way it currently is doesn't help at all. Honestly, Trainz has always been my go-to whenever I need to escape the harsh reality and just relax. I am very young (18 as of now) and have a lot of things ahead of me but I try to empathize with others, even if I don't fully understand what they're going through.

Spot on regarding Trainz. Whenever things get rough, I escape into my virtual basement and work on my virtual railroad. It's a nice way to escape.
